BENGALURU: A 24-year-old girl, who had sought safe haven at a chum’s space close to Peenya, was allegedly raped via the latter’s husband.
The incident, which had took place on December 15, came to light handiest two days ago after the survivor lodged a criticism with Rajagopalnagar police.
The survivor, who is from Kunigal taluk in Tumakuru, had come to the town to withdraw money from a private chit fund the place she had invested. Since it was overdue in the evening and she didn't need to travel, she selected to sleep at her good friend Komala’s space in Rajagopalnagar.
The subsequent morning Komala left for work at 6:30am. The Kunigal girl was on the brink of leave when Komala’s husband., Nanjappa, sexually assaulted her. He threatened to kill her if she spoke in regards to the incident to any person.
However, the lady later approached police after studying that she had transform pregnant.
Pourakarmika raped via BBMP supervisor
A 24-year-old pourakarmika, who worked as sweeper, was allegedly raped via her supervisor, stated KG Halli police.
The girl accused BBMP supervisor Ashok of having called her to his room at the pretext of cleaning it and raping her.
Following this, he used to name and ask her to spend time with him. The accused threatened to harm the lady’s husband, if she refused to cooperate. However, she knowledgeable her husband and filed a criticism with police on March 9.
Police stated they've registered a rape case and are making efforts to nab the accused.
