Farmer ends life in Hunsur

Mysuru: A 49-year-old farmer ended his existence in Uyigowdanahalli, Hunsur taluk committed suicide by means of putting on Tuesday. Inability to settle his debts, which amounted to nearly Rs 2 lakh, has been cited as the cause of pushing Jayaramegowda to take the intense step.

The victim’s wife Poornima mentioned that her husband used to be engaged in the cultivation of banana, cotton and tobacco in Kudineer Muddanahalli, the place he had two acres. “He had borrowed Rs 80,000 from a cooperative financial institution, and an extra Rs 1 lakh from a personal moneylender. He used to be not able to harvest a good harvest owing to drought, and used to be not able to transparent his loans, “ she mentioned.


Hunsur rural police have registered a case in reference to Jayaramegowda’s dying.
