Hema Malini files nomination from Mathura seat

AGRA: Actor turned flesh presser and sitting Member of Parliament from Mathura, Hema Malini, on Monday filed her nomination papers for re-contesting elections from the constituency and mentioned that this was her final election combat.

Accompanied through UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Hema previous carried out prayers on the Banke-Bihari temple in Vrindavan.

Talking to media after filing the nomination, Hema, mentioned, “that is my final election and I will not contest next time”. She mentioned that many kids are there and they'll take over and do the paintings. “I don’t wish to be the hindrance in their oath and I'd be with them like they are with me,” she mentioned.

She added that she is seeking the second time period for completing the works that she had began. This election will be a referendum, she mentioned.


“I will paintings laborious and come again once more to deliver construction to the area,” she mentioned, adding that she is grateful to Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for choosing her once more.


On being requested about the SP-BSP-RLD alliance, Hema mentioned that she has achieved her paintings with complete willpower and was hoping that individuals would again her up for it. She mentioned that she is confident of her victory.


Hema Malini could be contesting her 2d elections in opposition to Congress’s Mahesh Pathak, who's an industrialist and the blended candidate of the SP-BSP-RLD alliance, Kunwar Narendra Singh, who has previous lost two meeting elections in Mathura.


Interestingly, Narendra’s elder brother Kunwar Manvendra Singh, has been a Congress MP from Mathura 3 times, joined the BJP final evening in the presence of the birthday celebration’s national president Amit Shah.
