'KCR may occupy top post at Centre after polls'

HYDERABAD: TRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday stated that chief minister Okay Chandrasekhar Rao may occupy a most sensible position in the Central government after the Lok Sabha elections.

“The try isn't to get to that position but who knows? It may happen and why not? The Federal Front would emerge as the opposite to BJP and Congress on the Centre,” KTR stated while addressing a road display at Tandur, where he was campaigning for Chevella candidate Ranjit Reddy.

KTR, who addressed five election conferences on Saturday in quite a lot of constituencies, explained that non-Congress and non-BJP parties would together have 150 MPs or much more. “If BJP wins, Narendra Modi will receive advantages and if Congress wins, Rahul Gandhi will receive advantages. But if TRS wins, Telangana will develop extra,” he stated to the group. “We don’t want a ‘chowkidar’ like Modi or a ‘thekedar’ (contractor) like Rahul who believes that he will have to run the country because of his family historical past. We want a ‘jimmedar’ (accountable person) like KCR to be on the helm of affairs,” KTR added.

Being critical of sitting Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who jumped fences to enroll in Congress from TDP, KTR puzzled, “He says only nationwide parties can rule India, but what has the Congress delivered having ruled the country for a decade?”

Responding to Modi’s comments on the Mahbubnagar public meeting on Friday, KTR stated, “Modi copied the Rythu Bandhu scheme which KCR introduced in Telangana and took credit score for introducing a identical one on the Centre. How shameless.”

Late on Friday night, KTR had tweeted: “Dear @narendramodi Ji, instead of wasting your treasured time criticising TRS in Mahbubnagar (where BJP had misplaced its deposit 3 months in the past) other people of Mahbubnagar would’ve been happier to listen to you announce National project status for his or her lifeline ‘Palamur Lift Irrigation Project’.”
