LUDHIANA: Khanna police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler after it recovered 80kg of ganja from his possession.
The accused was once known as Faiz Mohammad of Gautam Budh Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh.
SSP Khanna Dhruv Dahiya advised journalists that the ganja was once recovered from a car near a mosque in Libra village right through a marketing campaign in opposition to drug peddling within the space.
Police mentioned that when seeing the police party, the driver of the automobile attempted to flee however he was once stuck. During questioning, he known himself as Faiz Mohammad, they added.
The accused was once booked underneath sections 20/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Sadar Khanna police station and was once arrested.
