Kolkata: High tide causes panic at Belur Math

KOLKATA: A high tide swamped ghats of Belur Math on Sunday, catching devotees and vacationers through marvel.
High tide waves lashed the ghats of the Belur Math in West Bengal. Monks and devotees dwelling on the holy place had been panic-struck.


In 1898, Swami Vivekananda consecrated the Belur Math and established the Ramakrishna Mission on May 1, that 12 months.
