Thiruvananthapuram: Amazon India on Wednesday signed a memorandum of working out (MoU) with Kudumbashree for its pioneering programme- Amazon Saheli. Kudumbashree govt director A Harikishore and director, dealer experience, Amazon India, Pranav Bhasin signed the settlement within the presence of local self-government minister A C Moideen.
Through this partnership, Amazon India will strengthen, train and empower girls entrepreneurs associated with the organization and supply a market for them to show off their merchandise to Amazon customers around the country.
Amazon will offer a slew of benefits to enable Kudumbashree members to start promoting on-line at zero value initially. 300 decided on Kudumbashree members had been trained for a day. Successful dealers shared their studies with Kudumbashree members.
Talking in regards to the partnership, Bhasin mentioned, “At Amazon, we see entrepreneurs of all sizes and businesses of various scale from in every single place India rising. And hence it’s no surprise that an enormous proportion of our dealers today are girls throughout a diverse age crew and economic backgrounds. Participation of women entrepreneurs on the Amazon.in market has been rising substantially during the last few years, particularly since the inception of our dedicated programme Amazon Saheli. Through this partnership with Kududmbashree we seek to further transform the lives of women entrepreneurs from Kerala”.
