Leaders of rival Haryana Congress factions meet at Selja's house

CHANDIGARH/AMBALA: The affect of Congress top command's dressings right down to its warring leaders in Haryana was once evident all through a meeting chaired by former Union minister Selja at her place of dwelling in Ambala on Sunday, as leaders of just about all factions attended the gathering.

National Commission for Backward Classes former member Ashok Saini was once present too. "As election schedule has been announced, we are prepared to just accept any challenge. In Haryana, our management stands united below (celebration leader) Rahul Gandhi and each chief is motivated to participate in the upcoming elections,'' mentioned Selja.


Every chief will paintings in his or her assembly constituency. "We will struggle together. You will see this all through the state assembly elections as well," she mentioned, when asked if the bonhomie would continue till the assembly elections.


Not just Ambala, even in different districts, the Congress was once at the receiving end of factionalism all through the assembly and parliamentary elections in 2014. The Congress has been divided between Hooda and anti-Hooda camps. The anti-Hooda camps come with Surjewala, Bishnoi, Selja, Congress legislature celebration chief Kiran Choudhary and Captain Ajay Singh.
