BENGALURU: Alerted by way of Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths, officials from the preuniversity department swung into motion at 3am on Saturday to check if the II PU Kannada query paper was leaked.
With just seven hours left for the exam, they crosschecked the entire strong rooms within the state to verify if the pictures making the rounds on social media matched with the actual query paper. They didn’t fit and what was circulated on social media was proven to be faux.
“The circulated photographs weren't of the actual query paper, but one thing fabricated by way of miscreants. The department has filed a complaint with CCB,” stated PU director PC Jaffer. The topic was printed to the media only after the exam started to be sure that the students weren't stressed by way of the alleged paper leak.
“The good judgment used within the bar code at the allegedly leaked query paper photographs didn’t fit with what has been used by the board. The PU department follows a good judgment within the formation of the bar code. Also, the serial numbers imprinted on the photographs were of 022 collection, while the unique query paper had other serial numbers. However, many scholars around the state had accessed photographs of the query paper circulated on WhatsApp on Friday evening. “We had no clue in regards to the verification finished by way of the PU board early within the morning.
