RAJKOT: In a case of honour killing, a person murdered a 25-year-old youth, who had eloped with his daughter and married her against his wishes in Kotada village of Kutiyana taluka in Porbandar district on Sunday evening.
According to police, the accused Viram Singrakhia and Mansukh Singrakhia, arrived in a automotive and rammed the victim, Alpesh Sondarva’s motorbike, who was once returning house in Ranavav village of Kutiyana taluka.
“As Sondarva fell on the highway, the accused duo stabbed him several instances. Sondarva was once rushed to Kutiyana Civil Hospital the place he was once declared brought lifeless. Our porbe has revealed Sondarva had eloped with Viram’s daughter. Nursing a grudge, Viram had decided to bump off Sondarva,” stated B V Pandya, sub-inspector with Kutiyana police station.
Police have introduced a manhunt for Viram and Mansukh.
