MUMBAI: As many as 48 applicants filed their nomination papers Friday in 15 of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra which pass to the polls within the first two stages subsequent month.
This takes the entire selection of nominations filed until now to 71 in 16 constituencies.
According to an professional free up, within the seven constituencies going to the polls on April 11, 43 applicants have filed their papers up to now.
In Wardha, six applicants, together with, Congress nominee Charusheela Tokas, have filed their papers.
