KANPUR: Neeraj Devi, spouse of a CRPF jawan martyred in Pulwama has registered a case against her in-laws for harassing and dangerous her over belongings problems in Kanpur on Wednesday.
"She said she was being harassed and threatened by her father-in-law Amar Singh, brother-in-law Kuldeep Singh, sister-in-law Rekha, mother-in-law Sarojini Devi and another relative, after she laid claim on property that her husband owned," said inspector Ashwini Pandey.
"They refused to give me my husband's share in property. When I protested, they hit me and asked me to give them money from the compensation I had received from the government," said Neeraj in the grievance.
