RAJKOT: Three persons have been arrested on Saturday for allegedly abducting a 12-year-old son of a manufacturing unit proprietor from Bhavnagar late night time on Friday. The accused — Tosif alias Ghoghari Juneja (19), Gafar Thaiyam (36) and Iqbal allies Chini Fakir (19) — have been arrested from Dholera in the wee hours of Saturday and brought again to Bhavnagar.
All 3 accused paintings as labourers and had deliberate the abduction upfront. Police mentioned that the accused had finished recce of the circle of relatives and the boy’s faculty and tuition timings.
According to police, manufacturing unit proprietor Mitul Rathod’s 12-year-old son Abhay was kidnapped from their residence in posh Shashtrinagar area on Bhavnagar-Rajkot highway on Friday when he was on his solution to tuition classes.
Two persons got here in an autorickshaw and abducted the boy. The circle of relatives got here to grasp about the kidnapping when Abhay’s tuition teacher known as up his parents over his absence. “The cause of the abduction was ransom. But sooner than they might demand the rest we arrested the accused,” deputy superintendent of police Manish Thakar instructed TOI.
When asked how the accused have been traced Thakar mentioned, “The boy’s father got one telephone name from the accused which lasted for almost 22 seconds. Based on that decision we got the path during which they have been headed.” Police mentioned that interrogation of the accused would divulge extra details on cause and others concerned in the conspiracy.
