Soldier from Nagaur killed in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir

JAIPUR: An Army jawan was killed all the way through ceasefire violation in J&K on Sunday morning. Hari Bhakar, from Nagaur was severely injured in Poonch late on Saturday night. He succumbed to his accidents on early Sunday morning at Army medical institution there. His mortal stays reached Jaipur on Sunday morning. The final rites shall be held in his village Joosari in Nagaur on Monday.

The 21-year-old had joined the Indian Army in 2016 and had returned from leave final month on February 15. He was from four Grenadiers Regiment. "Grenadier Hari Bhakar received grave injuries during ceasefire violation on March 23 in Poonch sector. He was evacuated to nearest field hospital for immediate medical treatment but later attained martyrdom on March 24," said a military reliable. The martyr's uncle, Rameshwar Lal Bhakar advised TOI, "Hari had gone back to Poonch just last month. He was home for his sister's wedding which was on February 9. In fact, he called home also on Friday and said that everything is fine there. He assured us that things were peaceful there. We do not know how to deal with his loss." The martyr's more youthful brother may be in the Indian Army. Their uncle added, "Although Hari's father is a farmer, from a very young age Hari wanted to join the army. This motivated his younger brother also to join the forces."


According to officials, unprovoked firing by way of Pakistani Army started on the night time of March 23 in which heavy calibre weapons and rockets were also fired.
