‘Teen Sitare Tees Tarane’ casts spell

Nagpur: ‘Teen Sitare Tees Tarane’, staged via Sursangam and Meera Nritya Niketan, gave music fanatics a whiff of unpolluted air with a vibrant palette of 30 songs of 3 composers, introduced via flexible singers at Scientific Society Hall, on Saturday.
The night took off on top notes of Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Solah baras ki baali umar’ and persevered to jump with ‘Aey dil-e-nadan’. Other super hit compositions like ‘Inhi logon ne le liya dupatta mera’, ‘Roz sham aati thi’, ‘Yeh hai reshami zulfon ka andhera’ and ‘Who hain zara khafaa khafaa’ had been sung which struck a chord with the audience.

People had been observed swaying to the music of Mohammed Rafi’s songs like ‘Teri galiyon mein na rakhenge kadam’ and ‘Mujhe kitna pyar hai tumse’. The singer’s acclaimed songs like ‘Toote hue khwabon ne’, ‘Raat ke humsafar’, ‘Maine puchha chand se’, ‘Ehsaan tera hoga mujhpar’ and ‘Banda parvar thaam lo jigar’ took the audience down memory lane.

Duets ‘Bekhudi mein sanam’, ‘O mere sona re sona re’, ‘Jo wada kiya wo nibhana padega’ and ‘Ye dil tum bin kahin lagta nahin’ had been additionally performed.

Radhika Pawar, who featured in a well-liked tv show, rendered ‘Yeh hai reshami zulfon ka andhera’ that left the audience spellbound and were given an encore.

Singers Jinash Sheikh, Surabhi Dhomne, Devika Nayar and Dnyanesh Varma rendered the songs fantastically.
