Bhubaneswar: The state executive will submit a draft record of farmers on Friday to include 10 lakh extra farmers, sharecroppers and landless farmers underneath the Kalia scheme. Two days after the cabinet determination, chief secretary A P Padhi reviewed the arrangements to select 10 lakh eligible farmers to be integrated within the third phase.
The draft record will likely be printed on March 1. “After the verification process, we'd submit the record of eligible beneficiaries,” said Padhi, adding that the transfer is to make certain that no eligible beneficiaries are neglected. As standard, village-wise draft record will likely be printed within the gram panchayat offices. People can document objections to the draft record following which the final record will likely be ready.
So a long way, more than 32 lakh farmers, together with 27 lakh small and marginal farmers and sharecroppers and five lakh landless agricultural labourers were integrated underneath the income support scheme.
