Three men held for murder bid in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nemom police arrested 3 men, who were wanted in connection with an attempt to murder case, on Tuesday.
The police known the accused as Jyothish Kumar (25) of Koliyakkode, Vishnu (24) of Thirumala and Praveen (33) of Poozhikunnu. The complainants within the case are one Sumesh and Shivakuttan.

The incident related to the case came about on the night time of February 20. The accused allegedly barged into the house of one relative of Sumesh and attacked him. The complainants rushed to the spot to save him and within the process ended up being stabbed with sharp weapons. They sustained severe injuries. The accused went absconding following the assault.


The police mentioned all 3 were ordinary offenders eager about a number of instances, mainly ganja peddling.


The relative of the complainant, whom the accused focused first, was also allegedly eager about ganja peddling and was eager about unlawful transactions with the accused. A rift over transactions had resulted within the assault.
