MANGALURU: Three miscreants stopped and robbed a truck motive force at Shiridigudde, Golithottu village, lately.
According to police, the truck loaded with sanitaryware belonging to an MNC was once going in opposition to Mangaluru from Chikkaballapur. On reaching near Golithottu, three unidentified people, who got here in a car, waylaid the truck. The trio gagged and tied up the truck motive force, Ambarish from Pandavapura in Mandya district, and then they assaulted him and robbed Rs five,200 and a mobile phone belonging to him. The incident happened within the early hours of Monday.
The robbery got here to light when some other truck of the corporate crossed the spot around five.30 am. The victim, who was once discovered subconscious, was once shifted to a sanatorium at Nelyadi, and is receiving treatment. Unidentified people have damaged the goods which have been being transported within the truck, stated sources. A case has been registered at the Uppinangady police station on this regard.
