Vadodara: Mobile phones proceed to be smuggled inside the Vadodara Central Jail with two more mobile phones being recovered from the barracks on Thursday nighttime.
Jail sepoys conducted a wonder check in the barracks on Thursday nighttime right through which a mobile phone in conjunction with a SIM card was found from a convict identified as Sakir alias Danish Sheikh. Police mentioned that once prison sepoys were seeking to frisk Sheikh, he stopped them and even pushed a guard. Besides being booked for possessing a mobile phone, Sheikh was also booked for his unruly behaviour.
Another mobile phone was found from barrack one in backyard seven. The second mobile phone was hidden under a mattress, however no one was booked for it because the mobile phone was lying unattended.tnn
