Kanpur: A 65-year-old lady was once found murdered in mysterious cases at her home in Rampur Khas village beneath Sachendi police station on Thursday.
The deceased was once recognized as Munni Devi, wife of late Om Prakash.
Munni used to are living alone after her husband’s dying. Her two sons Pradeep and Rajiv, who're into clothes trade stays with their households in Gujaini house of the town.
Munni’s elder son Pradeep called her mother in the evening on Thursday and when he didn’t get any response, he rushed to his ancestral house in Rampur Khas village.
After reaching there, he found the home locked from outside. Later, Pradeep called up neighbourers who broke open the door best to found her mendacity useless in one room. They alerted the police.
Police sources stated prima facie it seemed she was once killed in the afternoon hours of Thursday.
“Cash value Rs 20,000, which the lady had procured after selling crop, was once lacking, indicating it might be a murder for achieve. She had sustained head accidents and a sari was once found around her neck,” stated SHO Sachendi Raghvendra Singh.
Sniffer canines and forensic science laboratory officials accumulated evidence from the home, SHO added.
