Allahabad: A person allegedly burnt his spouse to dying after she resisted his extra-marital courting, in Damdama village below the jurisdiction of Mauaima police station on Thursday evening. The couple’s minor daughter sustained burns and is admitted to the district sanatorium. The accused has been nabbed and investigation is on, mentioned police. The accused, identified as Sone Lal, 30 wanted to marry every other lady to have a son after his spouse Chanda Dei, 26, lately gave delivery to their fourth baby girl.
DSP Amit Kumar Srivastava mentioned, “As according to the criticism filed through his father-in-law, Sone Lal reached his area in an under the influence of alcohol state after taking part in Holi and began teasing Chanda Devi for giving delivery to fourth girl child.”
He mentioned, “this ensued in a heated exchange of words. Chanda alleged Sone Lal of getting a bootleg courting which enraged him. He take out kerosene oil and put her on afire after pouring it on her. When the daughters attempted to save lots of their mother, considered one of them used to be injured.” After the incident, the accused attempted to flee however used to be stuck through the villagers.
