Woman’s body found on Mahape-Shilphata Road

NAVI MUMBAI: A girl’s body was once discovered at the Mahape-Shilphata Road on Tuesday night through the police patrolling workforce of Maharashtra Security Force.

Senior inspector Nitin Gite of Rabale MIDC police station, stated, “The girl appeared to be aged between 35 and 40. Prima facie it sort of feels like she was once strangulated. There are harm marks on her hands probably due to resistance. The body has been despatched to the civic sanatorium in Vashi to substantiate the cause of loss of life. A homicide case might be registered.”

Assistant police inspector Manisha Kashid, stated, “The girl’s face was once smeared with blood. There is a tattoo of a snake and a trident on her proper hand. From her attire, she looked like a daily-wage labourer or a slum dweller. While the water pipeline at the stretch of Mahape-Shilphata Road was once being checked through the law enforcement officials, the lady lying bleeding and motionless in the timber was once discovered close to the pipeline. The Rabale MIDC police was once then informed and then we reached the spot and performed a panchnama.”
