NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday thanked singer Lata Mangeshkar for her tribute in the form of a music for the jawans of the country.
"Your affection and blessings are a source of inspiration for me," PM Modi wrote on Twitter.
Lata Mangeshkar had on Friday uploaded an audio clip on her Twitter account in which she praised PM Modi.
The singer in the audio clip mentioned that she was once inspired via few strains of a poem recited via PM Modi throughout one among his rallies.
Earlier, the respected singer had congratulated PM Modi and the Isro scientists for “Mission Shakti”.
She had tweeted, "Namaskaar, I thank the scientists and respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful completion of Mission Shakti. Vande Mataram."
