THANE: Vartak Nagar police have arrested two absconding accused in different cases after over two decades.
While Sunil Jondhale, 52, residing in Shastri Nagar area of town, was once arrested after 26 years, 2nd accused, Shreyas Bhise, had been at the run for 24 years.
Senior inspector Pradip Giridhar mentioned Jondhale used to paintings with a milk provider and collected bills on his behalf. He had fled with Rs five,000 in 1993. A case was once registered for prison breach of trust and he was once sought after since then.
The court lately issued a proclamation understand in opposition to him and he was once arrested ultimate week following a tip off when he came to satisfy an acquaintance.
"He told us he had changed his name and had moved to Nanded," Giridhar instructed TOI.
