AHMEDABAD: Police on Saturday night time performed a raid at spa in Vastrapur space of the city and held four masseuses for illegally doing work within the city, violating their visa norms.
The women — Chanapa Semfan Singapole (39), Daranpaton Vishyan Sitakote (32), Fimchanok Pradab Nandit (37), and Soracha Fodgusan (40) — have been running at the spa with no need the work visa, said Vastrapur police inspector M M Jadeja. All the four women had B-1 visa, which prohibits them from running in India, said Jadeja.
Jay Shah (30), a resident of Navyug Colony in Baherampura and Vishal Patel (35), a resident of Home Town Society on Tragad Road in Chandkheda, who're the landlord and the manager of the spa respectively, have been booked underneath the Foreigners (Amendment) Act 2004.
