MUMBAI: Five males who didn't get bail for four-and-a-half years for kidnapping a teenager from Dharavi in 2014 have been sentenced to existence imprisonment by way of the sessions court on Friday. Irfan Khan Kureshi (46), Iliyas Khan (44), Wahid Jogi (30), Azad Mevu Khan (29) and Kasam Mevu Khan (29), from Haryana, have been nabbed by way of a Mumbai crime department workforce once they arrived in Rajasthan to assemble Rs five lakh ransom cash from the victim Pravin Gupta’s elder brother Pankaj, who was 19 then.

A case was registered on August 6, 2018, with Shahu Nagar police station after Pankaj received the decision hard Rs five lakh, failing which his brother’s existence could be at risk.
