SURAT: Aircraft don't seem to be the one factor one sees flying over the premises of Surat airport. It is the fiefdom of the birds too. Pigeons, sparrows and mynas have made the terminal development their residing place. The terminal and concourse are favourite puts of those birds, who like to make their nests right here, within the process creating problems for passengers, stall owners and the airport workforce.


Airport authorities plan to hire a certified agency to stop the birds from coming into the terminal development. The airport is facing chicken problem for the previous many years, yet the authorities did not take concrete steps to curb the risk. Passengers incessantly complain about chicken muddle and dust at the benches.
