GAYESHPUR (NADIA): Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday reacted sharply to Election Commission particular observer Ajay V Nayak’s “Bengal is like Bihar 15 years again” remark, saying that the Centre used to be seeking to administer Bengal by proxy, which is unconstitutional. “These retired officers are speaking politics,” Banerjee mentioned, including that two officers sent by Delhi have been seeking to lend a hand BJP in Bengal.

“People have elected us for 5 years. This is a democratic govt. They are ignoring the state govt and sending other people from Delhi. They are seeking to run a parallel govt. This is unconstitutional,” Banerjee mentioned.
