Gurugrammer Dharmvir Verma and his two kids are spreading awareness about voting this election season

Twenty eight-year-old Ankush Singh lives in Delhi and works in Gurgaon. On Saturday morning, as he was mountain climbing down the stairs of the HUDA City Centre Metro station on his strategy to work, he noticed something abnormal – two children conserving banners with messages related to vote casting. “I was curious, so I went over to them and saw they were status with their father, talking to passersby in regards to the significance of vote casting. They weren’t campaigning for any party and even on behalf of any government body. It was so impressive,” he says. The two children, Bhavika and Parth, are the youngsters of Gurgaon-based attorney Dharmvir Verma. Together with their father, the 2 have embarked upon a marketing campaign to ship a message in regards to the significance of vote casting on this election season. On maximum weekends and faculty holidays, the circle of relatives can also be noticed at outstanding spots in Gurgaon – department shops, metro stations, markets – talking to electorate and urging them to vote. They stand with two published banners that urge electorate to rise above caste and religion and vote for trained and sensible applicants. “This isn't a promotion for any party and this isn't backed by way of any group. It’s our initiative,” they are saying.

This isn’t the first such marketing campaign for Dharmvir. For the remaining two years, he has been operating a marketing campaign for street safety throughout Gurgaon. He goes to main crossings within the city, helping the traffic police personnel there and encouraging other people to follow street safety regulations. “With the election season on, I thought I must take part on this as smartly,” the Jacobpura resident says, adding, “If our effort can have even the slightest of affects on the vote casting percentage within the city, it's going to be an excellent fulfillment for us. My message to other people is simple-voting is very important to make stronger the democracy and we want to vote, with out pondering of such things as caste, religion, and many others.”

But how did his two children come into the image? The attorney says they themselves insisted on accompanying him. “They would see me on my traffic consciousness drives and sought after to be a part of this. I agreed. I made up our minds to get the kids concerned for two reasons. First, what a kid says has a larger have an effect on. Unki baat ko jaldi maante hain log. Second, with them around, persons are more curious and more keen to hear us. That is helping,” says Dharmvir.

That lifts our spirits when we are drained.”
