RAJKOT: Pandemonium broke out at a Congress election rally in Surendranagar’s Baldana village on Friday when Patidar quota stir leader Hardik Patel was once slapped on the degree by a man from Mehsana district. When Hardik was once addressing the Jan Aakrosh Rally, the person identified as Tarun Gajjar climbed directly to the dais with a scarf in his hand. Initially, it appeared like he was once going to honour him, however impulsively he slapped Hardik. Gajjar, a local of Jasalpur village in Mehsana’s Kadi taluka, was once heard in video saying “you are accountable for the dying of 14 Patidars”. The attack sparked furore amongst his supporters in addition to Congress employees who stuck hang of Gajjar and thrashed him.

“During Patidar agitation, my spouse nearly suffered a miscarriage. Due to widespread bandh calls, it was difficult to take my sick son to the medical institution,” Gajjar told newshounds. He stated he had attempted to attack Hardik in Kalol on April 13 and in Balisana on April 17. But both makes an attempt failed. TNN
