GARHWA: Former chief minister and JMM operating president Hemant Soren on Tuesday termed the BJP executive at the Centre and in the state as “jumlebaaj ki sarkar (executive of rhetoric)” at a public rally in Garhwa.
Soren was addressing a public meeting in improve of RJD’s Palamu candidate, Ghuran Ram, fielded by way of the mahagathbandhan constituents, at Raja Talab floor in Dhurki block, 55km from the district headquarters.
“The BJP has divided all the nation on the foundation of religion and caste. This is the birthday celebration which has inspired mob lynching of a certain neighborhood individuals in the name cow coverage,” Soren alleged. He further added, “The state executive has requested its officials, particularly block construction officials (BDO) and circle officials to draw crowd at BJP rallies.”
Soren appealed to the people to vote in favour of Ghuran Ram, who will face BJP’s sitting MP V D Ram when the constituency goes to the polls on April 29.
Ghuran, who had received the parliamentary seat in 2006 bypoll on RJD price ticket, said, “I appeal to the people to vote for me on foundation of my efficiency as an MP previously. I am a local and feature at all times labored for the people and construction of the area.”
Meanwhile, the Garhwa district administration on Tuesday declared a public vacation on the day of balloting. Deputy commissioner Harsh Mangla said, “All the government workplaces and public establishments will remain closed on the day of polling.”
