Kanpur: A 45-year-old man allegedly sprayed bullets on his wife and three youngsters at his place of dwelling in Barauna Kalan village of Auraiya district on Thursday following a domestic dispute and later turned the gun on himself.
The man, known as Vishram Singh Yadav, his wife Rekha Devi (42) and their two youngsters — 17-year-old daughter Pranshi and 16-month-old son Vansh — died on the spot while their 2d daughter Anshi (6) is suffering for existence at the Medical University in Saifai the place she used to be rushed for treatment.
Police stated Vishram used to work as a personal employee in Delhi while his wife together with their 3 youngsters and different members of the family lived at his ancestral area in Barauna Kalan village of the district.
“Vishram had returned to his local position from Delhi about two days ago. On Thursday afternoon after getting into into an altercation with his wife Rekha, he took out a firearm and shot her and their 3 youngsters,” stated SP Auraiya Harish Chander.
“On hearing gun shots, different members of the family raised an alarm and alerted the neighbours after witnessing all of the 4 mendacity in a pool of blood,” stated police.
Alerted by the neighbours, police rushed to the spot and shifted the our bodies of Vishram, his wife Rekha and their daughter Pranshi and son Ansh to mortuary for postmortem exam. On finding Anshi breathing, police admitted her to Saifai Medical university in Etawah.
The SP stated, “Preliminary investigations have published that Rekha had entered into an altercation with Vishram. But we're yet to ascertain the real reason why that caused Vishram for resorting to this excessive step.”
The police would query their members of the family, the officer added.
