Varanasi: Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA brass like Janata Dal (United) chief and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and CMs of the entire BJP-ruled states are more likely to accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he would file his nomination for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat on April 26.
BJP leaders won this intimation from the birthday party top command on Sunday morning, after they launched a door-to-door marketing campaign to invite locals to attend Modi’s roadshow at the eve of submitting his nomination on April 25.
Talking to TOI, BJP’s Kashi regional unit president Mahesh Chandra Srivastava said, “Final itinerary of most sensible NDA leaders remains to be awaited, but we've got been intimated concerning the arrival of JD(U) chief and Bihar CM, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union minister and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan and many different leaders. The CMs of the entire BJP-ruled states, Union ministers and senior BJP leaders also are expected to arrive.”
As in line with the preliminary itinerary, Modi is more likely to seek advice from Kaal Bhairo temple to offer prayers prior to heading to district headquarters to file poll papers, BJP leaders said, including that there is not any plan of sporting out a nomination procession. However, sources said the birthday party is considering that a large number of leaders and people might apply Modi’s fleet when he'll move in opposition to district headquarters.
Srivastava said that birthday party is principally making ready for PM’s roadshow, which is able to happen between Lanka and Dashaswamedh Ghat.
