PATNA: Unidentified thieves stole valuables and cash value around Rs6.Five lakh from the rented accommodation of Rajesh Kumar Singh at Ajanta Colony in Kesari Nagar underneath the Pataliputra police station space within the state capital on Saturday. An FIR used to be lodged on Sunday morning.
Rajesh, who's a vocational route trainer at Amnaur Government College in Saran, had gone to his sister-in-law’s place of dwelling at Kidwaipuri together with his wife Rakhi Singh for attending a circle of relatives gathering for a few hours when the theft came about. The circle of relatives has been dwelling at the first ground of house quantity A-Five since closing five years. Rajesh told IdealNews over telephone that they had left their accommodation around 5pm. When they returned around 10pm, the valuables had been found to have been stolen. “When my wife attempted to open the lock at the main gate, she found the door hinge damaged. We found an almirah and a picket cupboard damaged and the items kept therein tousled,” he stated.
Rajesh stated gold ornaments, including four sets of bangles, rings, a suite of necklace with earrings and a number of other other items had been stolen. “The Rs45,000 also kept with the jewelry within the almirah used to be also lacking,” he stated.
“Neither forensic professionals nor a canine squad came for investigation. Only a police group reached around 3pm on Sunday and inquired how the theft came about,” Rajesh stated.
Pataliputra SHO Chetnanand Jha stated thieves had used a crowbar to wreck the lock hinge and almirah. “Forensic professionals or canine squad were not required as a number of hours had handed because the incident came about. Police suspect the involvement of a few locals within the incident. CCTV digital camera footages had been being gathered for getting a clue,” he added.
