Mangaluru: For the past one month, an auto rickshaw stand in Surathkal at the outskirts of Mangaluru city has seen a welcome trade. For, a girl has ventured into a somewhat uncharted territory of using other people around in an auto, in all probability the first such case in Mangaluru.
Vijayalakshmi, now the cynosure of all eyes in Surathkal, has taken to auto using to boost her two children. Interestingly, it used to be her husband HT Murthy who taught her using rickshaw and also ensured she got a motive force’s license.
