Pune: 4 of Wagholi family die in car-truck crash

PUNE: Four contributors of a family from Wagholi, together with a 20-day-old new child, misplaced their lives in wee hours of Sunday when the auto they have been travelling in rammed a stationary truck — status on the road without its hazard lighting fixtures on — at Shirur on Pune-Ahmednagar freeway.

The deceased individuals have been known as Kishor Madhav Hake (32), his brother, Limbaji (25), their mother, Vimlabai (60), and Kishor’s 20-day-old son. Kishor’s wife, Pushpa (26), and their relative, Samruddhi Halagude, escaped with injuries. Inspector Narayan Sarangkar of the Shirur police mentioned the 2 injured individuals have been admitted to a hospital at Shirur.

Sarangkar mentioned the coincidence victims had their roots in Nanded and have been now settled in Wagholi. He mentioned Pushpa was once at Nanded for supply. Her husband and in-laws had long gone to Nanded to deliver her and the kid to Pune.

The Shirur police discovered all the way through the investigation that the motive force of the stationary truck didn't take any precautions after his car ran out of fuel on Shirur bypass (a bit of the freeway). He didn't switch on the taillamps, nor engaged reflective signage. He didn't stand in the back of the truck both to alert different drivers drawing near it. As a outcome, the auto motive force failed to identify the stationary truck and collided with it.

“After studying the coincidence intently with the help of some mavens, it was once discovered that the auto motive force was once now not at fault. At the similar time, it was once revealed that the truck motive force had now not taken ok precautions after he ran out of fuel,” Sarangkar mentioned.

He mentioned the truck motive force halted the truck in the middle of the road and as a substitute of taking precautionary measures, he started searching for the fuel. “We are submitting a case towards the truck motive force for negligent using. He disregarded his tasks to prevent coincidence,” he mentioned.

Sarangkar mentioned the Hake family had migrated to Pune a few years in the past and had started cab trade. The family engaged two cabs with radio cab service suppliers. “They had taken one of the cabs to Nanded to deliver Pushpa and the kid back to Wagholi and it met with the coincidence,” Sarangkar mentioned.
