PUNE: Four people barged right into a space in Kalewadi within the early hours of Monday finding its door half-open, threatened a 35-year-old lady to kill her youngsters and robbed Rs1.25 lakh but even so gold embellishes, collectively worth Rs10 lakh.
The terrified lady later within the day approached the Wakad police and lodged a criticism. The police have registered an offence of theft.
An officer from the Wakad police mentioned the woman used to be by myself in the home as her husband had long gone out for some paintings. “The lady awoke around 4am on Monday went out to fetch water without locking the door,” the officer mentioned.
When she returned, she used to be surprised to peer the 4 males in her space.
“Before she may just even ask who they have been and what they have been doing in her space, two of them threatened her with sharp guns and informed her handy over all the valuables,” the officer mentioned.
He mentioned when the woman tried to resist them, the suspects threatened to kill her daughter and son. “The terrified lady then stopped resisting. The duo fled with Rs1.25 lakh and gold embellishes, collectively worth Rs10 lakh, from her space and fled,” the officer mentioned.
He mentioned the woman alerted her neighbours after a while. “We have launched a search for the suspects,” the officer mentioned.
