PUNE: After a bad civic election experience in 2017 when they might no longer vote, Dinesh Agarwal and his spouse Radha stepped out to vote early on Tuesday. But, this time too, somebody had solid votes of their names.
The Agarwal couple first solid ‘delicate votes’ and then went to the Market Yard police station to lodge an FIR. A voter, who unearths that his vote has already been solid, is entitled to solid a tender vote.
When contacted, Agarwal, a resident of Gangadham in Market Yard stated, “We were given our vote casting slips and entered sales space No 287. To our marvel, the polling officer advised us that somebody had already solid votes in our names. I used to be surprised as this was happening for the second time,” Agarwal stated.
The polling officer advised him that the individual had proven a driving licence as id evidence and solid his vote.
