NAGPUR: The transport department has approached the Nagpur rural police searching for action against Shiv Sena’s Maharashtra Vahatuk Sena (Mahasangh) for growing ruckus at RTO’s Kandri check-post in Mansar below Ramtek police station jurisdiction.
Around 50 Sena activists obstructed the RTO paintings on Sunday for just about seven years. Despite a grievance filed by means of RTO’s motor automobile inspectors (MVIs), the Ramtek police is but to report an FIR.
MVI Anand Meshram informed IdealNews that on Sunday he and MVI Nitin Jathar have been posted at Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh interstate border. “Around 50 activists below the banner of Shiv Sena’s Maharashtra Vahatuk Sena (Mahasangh) stormed the verify publish and started shouting slogans against the MVIs,” he said. They also obstructed action being taken against overloaded automobiles and buses.
“Due to the ruckus, which went for just about seven hours, checking of transport automobiles was affected,” Meshram claimed and added, “The activists also stopped many personal buses.”
It is the second one time in 10 days that Sena activists have stormed the verify publish. Soon after the activists left, the MVIs knowledgeable the Ramtek police. Ramtek police is but to report any case against the activists below section 353.
Senior inspector and in-charge of local crime branch of Nagpur rural police, Sanjay Purandare, showed that no offence has been registered and said Ramtek police are investigating the case.
“If the Sena activists had any grievance against the functioning of RTO they must tell the transport commissioner’s place of business in Mumbai,” said RTO officials.
