In opening arguments, prosecution tells KCOCA court that they had hyperlinks with Sanstha
The Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) special court has began listening to arguments for the framing of fees against the accused in Gauri Lankeshhomicide case on April 25. The prosecution while placing its opening arguments highlighted that none of the accused had any personal enemity with Gauri Lankesh. “She was once eradicated as a part of an ideological conspiracy through a some distance proper extremist terrorist ring involving the accused males,” said S Balan, Special Public Prosecutor as a part of his arguments.
“None of the accused has any other cause as it's been proved in the investigation. The arrested males are attached with Sanatan Bharatiya Jagruti Sansta which is sometimes called the Sanatan Sansta. The accused males had been indoctrinated to believe that eliminating Durjans (evil doers) was once not an act of violence as it was once interpreted as a religious deed,” Balan said. The prosecution also identified that 18 males had been immediately involved in the homicide conspiracy out of which 10 had been from Karnataka and 8 from Maharashtra beneath the command of Amol Kale, a prime accused in the Gauri homicide and also Narendra Dabholkar homicide case. Two accused males as of now known as Vikas Patil alias Dada and Rishikesh Deodikar alias Murali are nonetheless absconding.
The court was once also informed that the crowd had ready a list of over 30 durjans, principally left leaning thinkers, writers and social activists. The first argument consultation lasted for just about two hours ahead of the court on the foundation of which the fees are expected to be framed against Amol Kale and his co-accused after their legal workforce provide their model and arguments ahead of the court on June 13. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also submitted 1,053 documents ahead of the court together with statements of 41 witnesses recorded ahead of Justice of the Peace. The SIT has already submitted two chargesheets ahead of the court in reinforce in their probe finding that Amol Kale and 16 others had been a part of the conspiracy which ended with Parashuram Waghmare from Vijaypura and Girish Miskin arriving at Gauri’s place of dwelling on the evening of September 5 and Waghmare opening hearth atGauri Lankesh when she returned home from her place of work.
