The government officer (EO) of Peddamma Temple in Jubilee Hills was once caught red-handed by way of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday whilst taking Rs 1 lakh — the first instalment of Rs four lakh bribe that he had demanded from the temple priest to revoke his suspension. Peddamma temple is the second richest temple in the city with an annual source of revenue of over Rs 9 crore.
