The Thane district court in Maharashtra has sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a 13-year-old lady. Judge S A Sinha also imposed a fine of Rs five,000 on the 42-year-old man (identify no longer disclosed), a resident of Uttan within the district, after convicting him below Section 376 (rape) of the IPC on Friday.
