Going to a mall to have a meal, watch a film or just hang around with friends and family are one of the most usual Sunday actions of Delhiites. But this Sunday, a polling day in Delhi and Gurgaon, meant that the shops of these cities have been closed till 6 pm. And for people across NCR, all roads gave the impression to lead to Noida as people flocked to the shops there. Noida shops reported an increase in footfall, with restaurants and cinemas experiencing near-full occupancy. People have been left to jostle for space to park automobiles and the waiting duration for cabs was once significantly upper.
