With 498 marks, Aishwarya of KV Rai Bareilly tops the state, second in countrywide merit

ALLAHABAD: Aishwarya, a student of KV #1, Rai Bareilly has topped the state and Allahabad area in class 12th board of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with 498 marks out of 500. She also shares the second position with two other girls-Gaurangi Chawla and Bhavya-in the all India merit checklist, missing the top position with simply One marks.


Besides, Ayushi Upadhyay of Lucknow Public faculty (South City) got here 2nd in the state with 497 marks whilst Palak Mishra of the Aryan International School Varanasi used to be the third position holder with 496 marks.

This 12 months Five ladies have shared the top two positions in the general merit, two to start with and 3 at the second place.

Four students including Ojasvi Kalp of Faizabad, Himanshu Gaurav Singh of Gorakhpur, Vinay Kumar Srivastava of Sonbhadra and Priyankush Adhikary of Varanasi shared the 4th position with 495 marks.

At 493 marks, Four student including Amit Kumar Yadav, Sakshi Manchanda, Priyal Advani and Navya Shukla shared Vth position.

Talking to media, regional officer (RO) of Allahabad, Sweta Arora stated, "Total number of schools, students of which appeared in class 12th board under Allahabad region, this year were 1291 while total number of centres was 386 among which 164655 students appeared in this year's exam out of a total of 168394 registered students".

She added that the go proportion of 2019 used to be 75.36% whilst that of the ultimate 12 months used to be 75.19%. "Pass percentage among girls was again more than the boys as 82.1 5% of girls cleared class 12 board while 71.44% boys came out with flying colours", she stated.


Talking of go proportion in terms of faculties, the RO stated, "Kendriya Vidyalaya topped the checklist amongst faculties with 98.eight 1% whilst the passing proportion at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya used to be 96.eight zero%, unbiased 73.7 3% and that of government faculties (including Abhinav Vidyalaya, Rajkiya Vidyalaya, Jai Prakash Narayan and North East Railway faculties), the go proportion used to be 46.7 6%.


Talking on go proportion of the 4 main districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, the RO stated, "Of the 116 faculties of Lucknow, the full go proportion used to be 85.31% (90.46% ladies and 81.70% boys) whilst that of Kanpur, the full go proportion used to be 85.29% (89.23% ladies and 82.79% boys)'.


Besides, the full go proportion at Varanasi used to be 71.96% (78.50% ladies and 68.12% boys) and that of Gorakhpur, it used to be as 69.54% (75.97% ladies and 66.04% boys).
