
The cultural centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) discovered a 1,000-year-old sculpture of a Jain Tirthankara in a dumpyard amidst thorny bushes and shrubs close to Basavalingam temple positioned against the northern aspect of Macherla the town in Guntur district on Tuesday, all over their survey which is a part of their Preserve Heritage for Posterity marketing campaign.
