Secretary of Medical Education and Drugs Department, Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, has asked deans of all executive scientific schools (GMCs) in the state to often evaluate scenario of patients and resident doctors in each and every department. These directions, given via a correspondence previous final week, came following recent assaults on resident doctors in West Bengal.
