There used to be traffic chaos across Juhu and Santacruz the day gone by because the BMC shut down the bridge over SNDT nullah on Gazdarbandh at Juhu Tara Road , which connects Juhu and Santacruz. After much discussion withSNDT College control via MLA Ashish Shelar , MLA Ameet Satam and Prabhag Samiti chairman Aneesh Naval Makwaaney, SNDT college gave permission on Tuesday to make use of their interior road as another route but with sure stipulations, together with the presence of feminine cops for its students’ safety.

Deyasini Choudhury, an ordinary commuter and civic activist from Santacruz West stated, “Since that is the only connection from Santacruz to Juhu, students from Maneckji Cooper might be affected as soon as college begins. The route and shuttle time for the ones dwelling past SNDT is doubled if they have to head towards Bandra.”
