The state govt has redesignated the posts of extra deputy superintendent of police (ADSP) and extra deputy commissioner of police (ADC) (prohibition enforcement wing) as ADSP/ADC (crime towards ladies and kids - CWC) following the Supreme Court and Madras prime courtroom orders to deal with crimes towards ladies and kids more effectively.
