GURGAON: A bunch of citizens of Bestech Park View Residency and Mahindra Aura in Palam Vihar approached PWD minister Rao Narbir's workplace on Tuesday, difficult the suspension of the SHOs of Palam Vihar and Bajghera.
They alleged law enforcement officials from the two police stations had stressed girls all the way through the protest they had organised closing Friday towards air pollution caused via the sectoral road operating subsequent to their societies, whose construction were deserted mid-way. In an earlier grievance to sub-divisional Justice of the Peace Bharat Bhushan, they had additionally demanded suspension of both the SHOs and submitting of FIRs towards them.
"Not only did the cops try to stop us from protesting, they also misbehaved with the women. It's a clear case of misuse of official position by the SHOs, as well as inefficiency on their part to resolve the issues. Hence, we are proposing strict disciplinary action against them," stated Yashesh Yadav, president of Mahindra Aura, one of the protesters.
Bhushan stated he had gained the grievance on behalf of the government, and forwarded it to the DCP (west) to take action. "We'll look into the matter and take required action. But it's unlikely the SHOs would have misbehaved with anyone, as they have clean records," stated DCP (west) Sumit Kuhar.
