BHBANESWAR: As the ruling BJD would rejoice its 20th basis day on December 26, the celebration is making plans launch a large people-connect programme from the day, holding the 2019 normal and assembly elections in thoughts.
Though officially no programme has been finalized but, an enormous convention can be organized for its grassroots staff as part of the foundation day celebration programme. There is also additionally a coaching programme for its panchayat level staff to advertise brand Naveen,an insider stated.
In view of BJP's enlargement submit February panchayat election, the BJD wants to flex its muscles through its convention. Instead of the state capital, celebration strategists are bearing in mind to carry the convention in Puri.
"As our party turns 20, we would make an attempt that every Odia should feel that we care and work for them. Senior leaders of our party are working out the detail schedule for the foundation day and onward programmes. It would be made public after approval of our president and chief minister Naveen Patnaik," stated a senior chief, requesting anonymity.
Besides its elected representatives, administrative center bearers, district presidents, government committee and council contributors, the celebration is making plans to get two to three staff from all 6,800 gram panchayats for the convention.
The idea to contain staff from every gram panchayat is that they would take the message of government to the grassroots level in a strategic way, the chief stated.
According to assets, problems like cradle-to-grave social welfare schemes introduced by the state government, social transformation of Odisha underneath the leadership of Naveen and forget of Odisha by successive governments on the Centre can be mentioned.
When contacted, celebration spokesperson Pratap Deb stated the celebration would exhibit its achievements to the hundreds throughout the 20th basis day celebration. "People of Odisha are our strength. We would continue to work for them and for the interest of Odisha as well," Deb stated.
